Why CYD

ABA Built Around the Learner. Not the Other Way Around.

At Chasing Your Dreams ABA, we believe therapy should fit into a learner’s life rather than requiring their life to revolve around therapy.

Our goal is not simply to change behavior. It’s to understand what each learner needs to participate more fully in everyday life and build the skills that help make that possible.

  • Our Approach

    Our Philosophy

Parents and caregivers know things no assessment can tell us.

You know the routines that are difficult. What motivates your child. What works at home. What doesn’t. What a successful morning, school day, family outing, or conversation would mean to your family.

We bring clinical expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis. You bring expertise in your learner. The best treatment brings those perspectives together.

That’s why collaboration is fundamental to how we work. We listen to families, communicate closely, collaborate with educators and other providers when appropriate, and develop goals that create meaningful value for the learner and the people who support them.

Our Difference

What Makes CYD Different

ABA can involve a significant time commitment. Depending on clinical need and insurance authorization, a learner may receive approximately 10 to 40 hours of therapy per week. Recommendations are individualized and based on the needs of the learner. Treatment should never feel one-size-fits-all, and plans evolve as needs and progress change. Our goal is to help learners build skills, increase independence, and apply what they’ve learned across people and settings.

  • Support in Real Environments.

Home. School. The community. Providing ABA in natural environments allows our team to work on skills where learners actually need to use them. That can mean navigating a classroom transition, completing a home routine, communicating with family members, interacting with peers, or participating more independently in the community.

  • Accessible, Local Support.

We're a local provider, and relationships matter to us. Families shouldn't feel like they're navigating ABA alone. We prioritize responsive communication, including text communication when appropriate, and close collaboration between families and the CYD team.

  • Quality as We Grow.

Chasing Your Dreams ABA was built with a commitment to quality. As CYD grows, that commitment remains the same: thoughtful treatment, supported staff, close communication, and meaningful goals for every learner.

  • Quality as We Grow

Chasing Your Dreams ABA was built with a commitment to quality.

Hally Chase is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (NCLBA), and experienced educator. Before entering the field of behavior analysis, Hally spent 13 years in education and holds North Carolina teaching licenses in Elementary Education (K-6), Exceptional Children: General Curriculum (K-12), and Behaviorally/Emotionally Disabled (K-12).

Her experience in both education and behavior analysis gives her a valuable perspective on how learners function across environments. She founded Chasing Your Dreams ABA to have greater control over the quality of services provided and to build an organization where families feel heard, employees feel valued, and treatment remains focused on meaningful skills, independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Together, we work toward one goal: helping each learner build skills that contribute to greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.
